Things to think about:
What is bullying exactly?
How is it different from teasing?
What do I really believe about bullies?

Check out this handout to learn about the different ways we can bully each other:

We all need to take a look at our own role when it comes to bullying.  How do we act when we see or experience bullying? To better understand ourselves and others, take a look at this next handout. Please answer the questions after thinking hard about what you really believe about bullying!

Next unit:  Aging!  It happens to everyone!

Things to think about: What are some of the normal milestones we experience as we age?
What are some of the different ways we age?
Who is an older person I admire and what have I learned from them?

Write two paragraphs about someone you admire who is older than 60.  This person should be someone you know fairly well.  The first paragraph will be about why you admire this person, and the second should be about what you have learned from them.  Feel free to attach a photo.

Paragraph 1:
   - person’s name and how you know them/why you chose them
   - three reasons you admire them
Paragraph 2:
   - three things you have learned from them

Put your finished paragraphs in your health folder, or print it out and bring a hard copy to class.
